On Chirality...

L-amino acid         D-amino acid

It is interesting to note that all naturally occurring amino acids (except for glycine) are “left-handed” while all sugars in RNA and DNA are “right-handed”. We look to the chirality of such organic molecules in those meteorites where they occur. We don't find any of these that are different from those involved with life on Earth. Our Solar System seems to be imbued with the chirality of life.
