UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

The Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences offers a Major program, two Honours programs, a Minor program and a Joint Major in Physics and Geophysics (with the Department of Physics).

The Major in Earth System Science is offered jointly by the departments of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, Earth & Planetary Sciences, and Geography.

U2 students with excellent academic records (GPA or 3.3 or higher) who are interested in pursuing a M.Sc. degree at McGIll can apply for the joint B.Sc./M.Sc. program. Students need to discuss their interest in this program with their potential M.Sc. supervisor and follow the application instructions at http://www.mcgill.ca/science/student/bsc-msc/

We also participate in the B.A.&Sc. Major Concentration: Earth, Atmosphere & Ocean Science.
